“Grassroots'' at Barrio- A collection of Ernesto Vazquez Illustrations is a solo exhibition being hosted by Barrio restaurant in City Terrace, East Los Angeles. The artworks on display are original ink and charcoal illustrations created over the span of 15 years. Each image is like a puzzle piece and together they reflect a part of the artist’s lived experience. This collection of works offers insight into Ernesto’s connection to his culture, family and community organizing. Street vendors, warriors, community and family are all captured beautifully in the unique light of Ernesto’s reality.
