Earlier this year, the last church remaining in Grassmoor - Grassmoor Methodist Church - sadly closed down after serving the village for 125 years. At Abundant Life Christian Centre, Holmewood: we feel that it would be a real shame for there to be no Christmas Carol Service in Grassmoor in 2024. Given we're a neighbouring village and some of our members live in Grassmoor, we'd like to put on a Carol Service in Grassmoor to bring a bit of festive cheer and celebrate the 'reason for the season': the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!
We've booked the Community Centre and the service will start at 18:00. There will be live music to lead the carol singing, traditional readings and a short, Christmas-themed message. There will be seasonal refreshments provided and gifts for children.
So ... come and join us for what will be a historic night of Christmas cheer and community-spirit! ALL WELCOME.
NOTE: There will be no AM service in Holmewood on this day to allow for preparations for this event. Our Carol Service in Holmewood will be in the evening on Sunday 22nd December. Again, there will be no AM service that morning, for the same reason.
