We're shooting to have the biggest grass tournament in SD and we think you should join us!
August 23 at Dunham Park in Sioux Falls, Coed 4v4 and Coed 6v6 divisions. We'll have a minimum of $1000 payout purse amongst all divisions. As we pass certain milestones of registered teams, we'll raise the payout.
5-20 total teams: $1000 payout
21-30 total teams: $1500 payout
31-40 total teams: $2000 payout
41+ teams, you might need to report it on your taxes
We know some teams will want to sandbag due to payout. Please don't do this. Let's make this fair and fun for everyone and play in the division of your and your teammates abilities.
A division will be coed 4v4. This is all one division, we could possibly split this into gold/silver depending on the number of entries. You must have at least 2 females in this format. No guy/girl rule, no open hand tips, no hitting the net on your serve.
BB division is coed 6v6. BB is new to some of you. If you are consistently in the top half of traditional B tournaments, BB is where you should be signing up. Must have at least 3 females. Other traditional 6v6 rules apply.
B division is coed 6v6. If you're consistently getting eliminated in the first or second round of traditional B events, this is the division for you. I will reassign you before the event starts or after pool play if I feel you are sandbagging in the B division. We want B level teams to be able to compete for the gold too.
Entry is $120/team. We will have strict policy of paying entry fee to get on the schedule. We will provide water for participants. Sign up by texting or going to Digz website. 605-366-4835
There will be opportunity for free entry for a limited number of players that assist with setup. I will post that opportunity in the event page as we get closer.
