Watercolor Workshop for Youth & Adults (Ages 10+)

Join me for an engaging and educational Watercolor Workshop designed for teens and adults, ages 10 and up! While the recommended age is 10+, I am open to considering younger students on a case-by-case basis. If you have someone interested who does not meet the age requirement, please call me in advance. I like to have a conversation to better understand their attention span, interest, and experience before enrolling them to ensure they have the maturity and basic knowledge necessary for this workshop.

Workshop Details:

Date & Time: We will meet on two separate Wednesdays, from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.

Session Dates: Wed. Sept. 17th & Wed. Sept. 24th

This workshop is a two-day commitment, ensuring students have enough time to paint at a comfortable and relaxing pace without feeling rushed. There are stages in the watercolor process that require drying time, so this extra day greatly enhances the learning experience.

Location:
My home studio at 348 Highlands Circle, Erie, CO 80516

Materials Provided:
I supply all necessary watercolor supplies, including high-quality watercolor paints, brushes, and paper to ensure predictable and effective learning results. Using quality materials significantly enhances the learning experience.

Instructor:
I have been painting with watercolors for over 20 years and teaching art for the past 10 years. My step-by-step instructor-led lessons focus on fundamental watercolor techniques, helping students understand how watercolors behave and how to apply their knowledge to their own paintings.

Classroom Environment:
My studio provides a quiet and relaxing space where students can explore their creativity, build confidence, and encourage one another. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, you are welcome! Each lesson is designed to teach new skills, helping you grow as an artist while receiving support and technical expertise.

Additional Notes:

• Students are welcome to bring a water bottle and a snack.
• My classroom is located in my basement and is not handicap accessible. There are stairs leading to the studio.

Class Size & Enrollment:

• Minimum: 4 students required for the workshop to take place.
• Maximum: 12 students.
• Doors open 5 minutes before the lesson begins.

Refund Policy:

• Full refund if cancellation occurs 1 week or more before the first session.
• 50% refund for cancellations 4-6 days prior to the first session.
• No refunds for cancellations within 3 days of the first session.
