Graphic Content: Feldman & Brown at 100 is a citywide festival celebrating the centennial birthdays of New York School pioneers Morton Feldman and Earle Brown. Across seventeen concerts, talks, and special events, the festival brings together leading performers from the contemporary music community to explore two composers whose revolutionary ideas transformed the landscape of twentieth-century music.
The heart of the festival is a 10-concert series at St. Michael's Church, featuring landmark works including Piano and String Quartet, Trio, Three Voices, For John Cage, String Quartet No. 2, and more. A 10-Day Festival Pass is available for admission to all St. Michael's concerts.

One of the festival's signature events, this ambitious program brings together two landmark large-scale works by Morton Feldman and Earle Brown, revealing radically different approaches to musical architecture: Feldman's quiet, meticulously unfolding sound worlds and Brown's dynamic, open-form compositions shaped anew by each performance. Culminating in a world premiere by Steve Long, commissioned by MATA, the evening celebrates the enduring influence and continuing evolution of the New York School.
