Free Resources and Support for Grandparents on November 7
The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office will host a free community support class for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. The event will take place on Friday, November 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Southern Hills Community Center, located at 1002 W. Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.
This program is designed to offer resources to grandparents navigating the unique challenges of parenting in a new role. Attendees will learn valuable legal information about custody, along with financial tools, community resources, technology support, and ways to care for the emotional well-being of both themselves and their grandchildren.
The class is presented by CPSO Community Relations and Crime Prevention.
