The Grande Prairie Stompede is returning for 2022!Things kick off with the Showdown Parade on Tuesday, May 24 leaving from Hillside School at 6 p.m.
First chance to visit the midway will be at 5 p.m. on Thursday and each day after that it will be open at 1 p.m. and close depending on crowd size. Midnight Madness goes 7 p.m. to midnight on the Friday.
Midway times are subject to change as per West Coast Amusements.
Each day the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association athletes will be performing start at 1 p.m. at Gordon Badger Stadium. Chuckwagon racing goes each day at J.D.A. Raceway at Gordon Badger Stadium.
The Beer Gardens goes Friday and Saturday in Evaskevich Hall in the TARA Centre. Friday’s headline is Gord Bamford and Saturday it will be The Road Hammers.
The Arts & Cultural Expo is planned for Clarkson Hall during Stompede. There is also a County Music Competition.
