Companions, you will notice that there are three donation tickets in the ticketing selection fields. These represent the Knights Templar Holy Land Pilgrimage Program, the Cryptic Masons Medical Research Foundation (CMMRF) and the Grand Chapter's Able Kids Foundation programs. Here are three great philanthropies that go to extremely great causes. And these programs survive on donations from Brother Companions such as you. So, please consider helping the Holy Land Pilgrimage program, the CMMRF, and the Able Kids Foundation program.
The Holy Land Pilgrimage program helps sends ordained ministers to "walk in the footsteps of Jesus" in the Holy Land, which will educate and broaden their spiritual horizons with all expenses paid. By selecting this donation, all monies will be donated to the "Holy Land Pilgrimage Program."
CMMRF. This Foundation is a culmination of the finest medical professionals, Masonic charity managers and support staff. This functional team conducts research in pursuit of curing and or alleviating medical conditions stemming from vascular diseases. By selecting this donation, all monies will be donated to the "Cryptic Masons Medical Research Foundation."
Able Kids Foundation improves lives and expands opportunities for individuals with central auditory processing disorder (CAPD). The Foundation was established to continue the work that began at Colorado State University in the 1970's. Children and adults seen at the Foundation typically have excellent hearing but have difficulty understanding auditory information and concentrating when in a less than quiet listening environment. This program helps offset financial barriers to children and adults in need of central auditory processing evaluation and management solutions. By selecting this donation, all monies will be donated to the "Able Kids Foundation." Please remember what Margaret Mead once said, "Never believe that a few caring people can't change the world. For indeed that's all who ever have."
Please find it in your hearts to help support these worthy programs. Thank you .
Here is a little bit of history on Golden City Lodge #1 when you visit this beautiful lodge in September. “Back in the year 1860, on the 17th day of the month of October, the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Kansas Territory did a wonderful thing. They issued a Charter for Golden City Lodge No. 34 A.F. & A.M. On January 8, 1861, Right Worshipful Brother L. L. Bowen, Past Deputy Grand Master of Nebraska installed Isaac E. Hardy as the first Worshipful Master with Eli Carter as Senior Warden and James A. Dawson as Junior Warden. In concert with Summit Lodge No. 7 of Parkville and Rocky Mountain Lodge No. 8 of Gold Hill, both chartered by the Grand Lodge of Nebraska Territory, Golden City Lodge No. 34 of Kansas Territory formed the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Colorado on August 2, 1861. These lodges became Golden City Lodge No. 1, Summit Lodge No. 2 and Rocky Mountain Lodge No. 3 under the Grand Jurisdiction of Colorado.”
