Grand Tour in Musica
Viaggi musicali e gastronomici in Italia e in Europa
Ogni domenica sarà un viaggio nella musica lirica e da camera d’Italia e d’Europa, alla scoperta di grandi capolavori e perle meno note.
I musicisti ci porteranno in Francia, Germania, Spagna, Russia e ovviamente nelle varie regioni d’Italia, raccontandovi con la musica e con le parole storie di persone, di artisti, di vita.
Sarà proprio come una tappa del Grand Tour, il lungo viaggio che i giovani intellettuali del sei e settecento facevano attraversando l’Europa (e che, spesso, aveva Roma come meta finale) per conoscerne l’arte, la musica, la letteratura, la cucina.
Voce, pianoforte, ma anche flauto, violino, arpa: gli artisti vi prenderanno per mano per condurvi in mete inaspettate, introducendovi loro stessi i brani.
Tutto ciò nella stupenda cornice del teatro Arciliuto: a seconda del programma potrete ascoltare il concerto nello splendido salotto della musica del cinquecentesco Palazzo Chiovenda (magari sorseggiando un tè, una cioccolata o un calice di vino) o nella piccola arena al piano inferiore, incastonata nelle fondamenta di una villa Romana e ideata e realizzata dal musicista e poeta Enzo Samaritani nel 1967.
Al termine del concerto, per chi lo desidera, ci sarà un aperitivo ispirato al programma del concerto, in cui poter incontrare i musicisti, conoscerli di persona ed esplorare il teatro, un piccolo gioiello che nasconde strumenti antichi e lunette di scuola raffaellesca.

Grand Tour in Musica
Musical and culinary journeys around Italy and Europe
Every Sunday will be a journey through the grand masterpieces and hidden gems of European opera and chamber music. The musicians will take you to France, Germany, Spain, Russia and of course to the various regions of Italy, telling stories of people, of artists, of life, through music.
It will be just like a stop on the Grand Tour, the long journey undertaken by young intellectuals in the 17th and 18th centuries; a tour across the European continent to explore its art, music, literature and cuisine, often with Rome as the final destination.
Voice, piano, flute, violin, harp… the artists will take you by the hand and lead you to unexpected places, introducing the pieces along the way.
All this in the marvelous setting of the Arciliuto Theatre: listen to the concert while sipping tea, chocolate or a glass of wine in the splendid 16th-century sitting room of Palazzo Chiovenda or, downstairs, in the small arena nestled in the foundations of a Roman villa designed by the actor and poet Enzo Samaritani in 1967.
At the end of the concert, enjoy an aperitif inspired by the evening’s program, where you can meet the musicians in person and explore the theatre, discovering its antique instruments and Raphaelesque lunettes.
