"Travelling Brush" Grand Prix of Art is scheduled for Saturday July 27th for this epic battle against the clock in the outdoor painting compitition of the year. Artists are allocated one of 35 painting locations along Steveston's majestic riverfront, from London Farm to Garry Point Park. After just 3 hours, artists must put down their brushes and return completed works to Britannia Heritage Shipyards National Historic Site for display and adjudication.The public are invited to cheer on their favourite artists from 10am to 1pm and then come join us at the Shipyards to celebrate the artists and find out who will hoist the coveted Dan Gray Cup and take home the Travelling Brushes' "Master's Cash Prize". Ride your bike and leave it at Richmond's Secure Bicycle Valet so you can enjoy the live music, artisan market, food trucks and the exhibition of amazing work sponsored by The PENTA Building Group. Music Sponsored by Tourism Richmond! City of Richmond and Phoenix Art Workshop, the event is presented by the Travelling Brush.
