Join us on Saturday, October 11 at Gilcrease Museum for a Family Festival celebrating creativity and community, presented by Bank of Oklahoma.Be among the first to see a powerful new artwork created by and for Tulsans as part of the National Scrollathon, a project by renowned artists and brothers Steven and William Ladd in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. Throughout the week leading up to the festival, 500 community members will create textile scrolls inspired by their own lives and stories. At the festival, their individual pieces will be unveiled as part of one incredible collaborative artwork. Want to be a part of it? Enjoy a day full of creativity and connection with live music, hands-on art activities, workshops, and a chance to get a glimpse of the new Gilcrease building before our official reopening.
The event is free and open to the public from 11am to 2pm, with come-and-go access throughout that time.
Gilcrease members are invited to an exclusive preview hour from 10am to 11am before the event opens to the public.
