Celebrate the re-opening of the newly renovated historic Landers House! The ribbon cutting unveiling the space will occur at 2 p.m. with opening remarks from CEO and Director Min Jung Kim, New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart, and Museum Board Chair Dona Cassella.
The Museum Café will feature local New Britain fare: food and beverages including beer and wine; the Museum Store will also boast all new Landers merchandise for sale.
Enjoy live music throughout the afternoon with the Survivors Swing Band at 3-4:30 p.m. and the Brian McDonald Duo 5:30 p.m. Drinks will also be available at the Art Happy Hour bar, opening at 5:30 p.m.
Outdoor docent led tours of the sculpture garden and Museum grounds will begin at 2 p.m. and run every hour through 6 p.m. From 2-4 p.m., an art activity will be available in the Makerspace.
