Bring your family and friends to a Free Family Event - the Grand Opening of a new Planet and Bird Walk at Twin Lakes. Stop by anytime between 2 pm and 4 pm. Walk all or part of the flat 1-mile path (2-miles round trip). Get a free special to mark the event. The signs on the walk have images and describe the Sun and the planets in our Solar System. In addition, the signs cover the birds of Twin Lakes. Can you guess how the planet and bird are related? Light refreshments, including homemade cake, bird cookies, and drinks. Planetarium and Juneau Audubon Society board members and volunteers will be there to answer your questions. Find out what these two non-profits offer.
