Grand Opening of the Sixth Street Viaduct

UPDATE (JUN 22 2022): TICKETS ARE NOW SOLD OUT

Due to an overwhelming response, the event has now reached max capacity. RSVP ticket holders will be guaranteed entry on Saturday July 9th from 2:00pm until 6:00 pm, so plan to arrive early. After 6:00 pm, ticket holders and walk-ups will be asked to wait in line and will be allowed into the event as bridge space allows.

SCHEDULE OF COMMUNITY EVENTS

SATURDAY July 9 2022 - Pedestrians only

2:00 p.m. - Gates open

4:00 p.m. - Music starts

10:00 p.m. - Viaduct closes

Featuring 100 years of cars - a tribute to the history of the low and the slow Lowrider scene of Los Angeles, a marketplace showcasing original creations from artisans of the Boyle Heights and Arts District, a celebration of LAs unique 100 year food truck movement and performances by homegrown acts Ozomatli, La Sonora Dinamita and more. The night concludes with the lighting of the arches and a fireworks display.

4:00 p.m. - Viaduct closes

7:00 p.m. - VIADUCT OPENS TO CARS

ENTRANCE

Enter on both sides of the Sixth Street Viaduct. Pedestrians are asked to stay on the sidewalks. Bikes have access to all driving lanes.
