Be among the first to experience Echoes in the Frame: Digital Folk Art & the Blues, a powerful new exhibit honoring the legends who shaped the sound of the blues at the National Blues Museum.

Join us March 1 from 1:30-3:30PM for a special Grand Opening & Meet the Artist celebration featuring St. Louis–based artist Bruce Toulmin. Enjoy a relaxed cocktail mixer atmosphere while meeting the artist, hearing the stories behind the work, and exploring the exhibit up close.

Rooted in a lifelong love of the blues, Toulmin’s journey began in the 1960s after witnessing icons like Buddy Guy and Junior Wells perform live. Over the years, he photographed legends including Albert Collins, Fenton Robinson, and John Lee Hooker. His work has evolved into richly layered Digital Folk Art pieces blending photography, texture, and storytelling — featured in more than 75 exhibitions across the Midwest.
