A new addition at the World Center for Birds of Prey is hatching soon, and you're invited to come explore as we open the doors!9 am: Ribbon Cutting (all are welcome)
10 am: Doors Open (members get in free)
11 am - 3 pm: Idaho Power Education Station
11 am - 3 pm: Foxy Franks food truck
1 pm - 4 PM: Western Collective Birds of Prey Beer Release
The Peregrine Fund is proud to welcome you to the opening of its World Center for Birds of Prey Global Raptor Education Center. A gateway to a world of raptors, conservation, and exploration, the experience begins with entry to our new Welcome Center and one-of-a-kind exhibits that tell our 50-year global conservation story. You will also get a chance to explore two new classrooms where students and visitors will experience year-round flight demonstrations and connect to The Peregrine Fund’s global field sites.
In addition to program offerings spread across the campus, the event will offer opportunities to experience elements of play and exploration built for visitors of all ages to explore hands-on STEM-based learning and see how science works.
This celebration wouldn’t be complete without some up-close encounters with your favorite raptor ambassadors and specialists to learn about what makes birds of prey unique and ways you can save raptors and enrich lives.
