Let’s have a blast! See the new BATTLE OF BUCHAN NESS exhibit at the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation. Interpretive guided plus hands-on activities for all ages: sail handling, cannon loading, LEGO ship building, scavenger hunts. Face painting (cash only) & snacks/water for a fee.
1:00-2:30pm KALMAR NYCKEL ship tours (limited & weather dependent for safety).
The new exhibit tells the story of the original Kalmar Nyckel’s last battle when she was sunk in 1652, featuring a newly- commissioned oil painting by renowned marine artist Patrick O’Brien.
