In this enchanting holiday classic, a young girl befriends a Nutcracker that magically comes to life on Christmas Eve. Together, they venture to a fantastical kingdom filled with dancing sugar plum fairies, toy soldiers, and other whimsical characters. Along the way, she discovers that love, imagination, and kindness can conquer adversity—and create magic in our lives. The Nutcracker was first adapted into a ballet in 1892 by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, with a libretto by Marius Petipa, based on E.T.A. Hoffmann’s beloved story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King."
