The Guyana Independence Celebration Committee New York will host a grand gala to commemorate Guyana's Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of Independence on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 8 P.M., The Weldon B. Smith Theater Edward Davis Center, 118-35 Farmers Boulevard, St. Albans, Queens, NY 11412.
Invited guests of honor will be in attendance.
Fifteen outstanding Guyanese of distinction will be bestowed with United States Congressional Awards at this historic occasion.
Dress Code: Formal Dinner Attire
Gala ticket costs are as follows:
Individual Ticket: $180.00
Individual VIP Ticket: $300.00
Corporate VIP Ticket: $500.00
Table $2,000.00 (Plus free Half page ad in journal)
Corporate VIP Table $5,000.00 (Plus free full page ad in journal)
Souvenir Journal:
The Committee will also produce a souvenir commemorative journal to memorialize the historic diamond Jubilee celebration. Government entities, the private and public sector, including organizations, businesses and individuals are invited to place congratulatory messages and ads in the journal to mark their place as part of this living history.
