With more than half a century of combined playing experience, the Grains of Sand band is comprised of eight musicians, including a four piece horn section. Playing the best of Motown, R&B, Soul, Beach and Classic Hits of the 60's and 70's, members of the Grains of Sand have performed with Marvin Gaye, The Platters, Jerry Butler, the Marvelettes, Jackie Wilson, and Patti Labelle to name a few. Effortlessly blending Beach, Soul, and Motown, The Grains of Sand create a fresh and energetic sound that will have you feeling the warm sand between your toes.
