Grafting Workshop at City Natives

Is there an apple you have your eye on? Learn how to take control of fruit tree production with this hands-on apple tree grafting workshop.

Under the expert guidance of David Schwartz of Twig Daddy Nursery, participants will learn the benefits, biology, and techniques of grafting fruit trees. A brief lecture will be followed by a demonstration, and plenty of time to try your own hand at grafting apple trees!

Registration fee covers the cost of plant material, and participants will leave with a newly grafted apple tree!

City Natives is a short walk from the Mattapan Center stop on the Red Line Extension
