Gradient Dance Theater and Community presents “Tortoise and the Hare”

Devious Duck challenges slow Tortoise and fast Hare to settle their differences in a race. However wise Owl knows that we are more similar than different and that our community is what helps us win. Original music by Post-Cool Art Collective takes us on a journey through the choreography of co-directors Joanna Hardy-West and Taylor Ostronic along with Grace Kurosaka CJ Wade and select 3rd through 6th graders from Booker T. Washington K-8 School to find how slow is a tortoise and how fast is a hare. What if they can be both and how do we see ourselves in these characters? An unconventional storytelling of an old classic is fun for the whole family.
