Grade 5/6 Creative Kids - School Holiday English Workshop

This workshop teaches grade 5 & 6 primary students the core elements of effective storytelling through a key focus on fairy tales, and the use of drama activities to actively perform, share and think about ideas.

Throughout the workshop, students will:

• Learn narrative structure and the conventions of the fairy tale genre.
• Practice generating ideas for characters, complications and settings.
• Practice the key rule of “show not tell” and how it can be used to describe characters and situations.
• Gain confidence sharing their ideas and presenting in front of a group.

TIME: 9:00am - 1:00pm (4 hours)

Supervision of children from 8:00am

WITH: Qualified Primary School English Tutors who will guide the students through the English Workshop
