Grace First Baptist Church Morning Worship Service - November 28, 2021

Beginning Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 9:45 am, we will return to in-person worship at a limited capacity of 180 individuals. Grace First Baptist Church will continue to strictly adhere to all COVID-19 guidelines:

- mandatory temperature check upon entering the church

- face masks must be properly worn at all times

- refrain from embracing and maintain a minimum of six feet distance from others (excluding immediate family) at all times

- cover coughs and sneezes, immediately dispose of tissue, wash, and sanitize hands

- wash and/or thoroughly sanitize hands before contacting “high-touch” surfaces such as counters, pews, door handles/knobs

- do not share personal items, such as pens.

- refrain from congregating in the common areas of the church and multi-purpose center (vestibule, entry/exit ways, restrooms, hallways, offices, classrooms, kitchen, stairways etc.)

Anyone with/who:

- a temperature of 99.1 degrees or higher,

- exhibits COVID-19 symptoms,

- is unwilling or unable to adhere to the guidelines

will not be admitted to in-person service.

At this time, we ask all attendees to RVSP in advance to attend service. You will receive an email to confirm your designated date. We will continue to monitor and adjust capacity accordingly over the next several months. At this time, we will not be able to offer nursery or children’s church. Please continue to monitor the church website for updates.

Registration may be submitted for individuals and groups/families. Upon completion of registration, you will receive an email confirmation to include a service admittance ticket(s). When registering for a group, it is important that you, the person registering for the group, share/forward the email confirmation(s) as well as the ticket(s) to each member for whom you are registering. Individuals who register together as a group, must also sit together (no distancing required). All attendees will be seated accordingly by our church ushers.

As part of registration and an attendee of Grace First Baptist Church, you are required to adhere to the CDC’s COVID-19 guidelines and to agree to the Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability as it relates to COVID-19. While many have received the COVID-19 vaccination, a vaccination is not a guarantee that the virus cannot be contracted or spread. We want everyone to feel comfortable, safe, and welcome. For the safety of our church members, visitors, staff, volunteers, and clergy, if you are experiencing symptoms associated with the virus, have been in direct contact with anyone who had/has Covid-19 or exhibits the symptoms, or travelled outside of the city via public transportation, please notify the church that you will not be in attendance and enjoy the service via livestream from the comforts of your home. Please isolate or quarantine for a minimum of 14 days before registering to attend in-person service.

Upon completing your reservation, you agree to the Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to COVID-19. THIS IS A RELEASE OF LEGAL RIGHTS. READ IT CAREFULLY AND BE CERTAIN YOU UNDERSTAND IT.

Grace First Baptist Church is taking every appropriate and possible measure to ensure your safety. To this extent, we will be following the Center of Disease Control (CDC) and local health department guidelines with regards to social distancing practices and thorough sanitization in order to reduce the spread of Novel Coronavirus, or COVID-19. However, even with our new preventative measures in place, Grace First Baptist Church cannot guarantee that you or your family members will not become infected with COVID-19, which is highly contagious and is believed to spread mainly through person-to-person contact.

By reviewing this release of liability and registering for in-person service, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that my family and I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending Grace First Baptist Church worship services and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at Grace First Baptist Church may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others present. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for attending any of Grace First Baptist Church’s worship gatherings. On my behalf, and the behalf of my dependent(s), family, and those for whom I have registered, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Grace First Baptist Church, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Grace First Baptist Church, its employees, or volunteers, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any of Grace First Baptist Church’s worship gatherings.

As our family continues to grow beyond the church walls and extend beyond our city and even state lines, it is the goal of Grace First Baptist Church to continue offering livestream services. Upon completing your reservation, you agree to the Media Consent and Release. THIS IS A RELEASE OF LEGAL RIGHTS. READ IT CAREFULLY AND BE CERTAIN YOU UNDERSTAND IT.

I hereby grant Grace First Baptist Church the absolute right and permission to use photographic portraits, pictures, or digital images in which I, my family, children, and those included in this registration may be included in whole or part, or reproductions thereof in color or otherwise for any lawful purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to use in any publication without payment or any other consideration. I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect and/or approve the finished product or the copy that may be used in connection therewith, wherein my/our likeness appears, or the use to which it may be applied. I hereby release, discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Grace First Baptist Church from all claims, demands, and causes of action that I, my family, children, or those included in registration have or may have by reason of this authorization or use of photographic portraits, pictures, digital images, or videotapes, including any liability by virtue of any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form, whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the taking of said images or videotapes, or in processing tending towards the completion of the finished product, including publication on the internet, in brochures, or any other advertisements or promotional materials. I represent that I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and am fully competent to acknowledge this Release.
