About Grace Feng

Eighteen years old pianist Grace Feng is a senior at Folsom High School in Folsom, California. Grace began learning piano at the age of 4. Since then, music has remained her greatest passion.

Grace is a two time winner of the National YoungArts (2023, 2024) in Classic Music Category, a scholarship recipient of the Chopin Foundation of the United State (2023-24), and the winner of the MTNA Junior Piano Performance Competition in California State and alternate in Southwest Division (2022). She is also the 2024-29 MTAC Young Artist Guild member. Her other competitive accolades include 1st prize winner in MTAC Northern California Piano Solo and Concerto Competition, CAPMT Honors Competition State Final, CAPMT Concerto Competition State Final, Henry and Carol Zeiter Piano Competition at the University of Pacific, and Pacific Musical Society & Foundation Competition.

Grace made her orchestral debut with the Folsom Lake College Youth Chamber Orchestra at the age of 9. She was then featured as a soloist with Florence Conservatory Orchestra, Orchestra Virtuosi Brunenses, and the Auburn Symphony.

Grace was selected as one of the 14 Festival Artists at the 3rd Cliburn International Junior Competition & Festival in Dallas in June 2023. She has also received scholarships to attend many other prestigious music festivals including Morningside Music Bridge and the Gina Bachauer International Piano Festival, where she had the opportunity to study with world-renowned pianists including Jerome Lowenthal, Arie Vardi, Christopher Elton, Yoheved Kaplinsky, John Perry, Boris Slutsky, Douglas Humpherys, Alexander Kobrin, and many more. Grace has studied with Carol Chuang since the age of 4. She is also taking masterclasses with Ilana Vered.

Grace loves to share her music with everyone. Besides piano, Grace loves photography, writing, swimming and ballet. She also plays viola.
