Grace Basement's Debut Performance at Joe's Cafe!

Grace Basement is an alt rock band from St. Louis, MO formed in the early 2000's by singer/songwriter Kevin Buckley.

Known as a fiddler and singer/guitarist in the folk music world, Buckley moonlights as a rocker from time to time, with a particular knack for melodic songwriting and highly arranged albums.

The first album, New Sense (2006), performed solely by Buckley, introduced an eclectic and playful approach to songwriting and recording.

GB's second album, Gunmetal Gray (2009) featured bigger arrangements and a live band. 2013's Wheel within a Wheel changed course, with Buckley exploring his folk music background. Electric guitars and drums were reintroduced on Mississippi Nights (2018), an homage to local music life and classic rock radio.

The setlist will include songs from all the Grace Basement releases as well as a number of newer tunes all of which will honor the very groovy vibe that is Joe's Cafe.
