Grace at Work

Join us for our Grace @ Work event at Friendship Church on “Giving Tuesday”, December 3, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Our desire for the day is to put our hands to work doing good and we’re hoping you’re ready to dig in with us! We will be making lunches for those being sex trafficked on the streets of Detroit.

is a faith-based street outreach ministry working to fight human trafficking by serving the needs of sex trafficked victims. Their “boots on the ground” volunteers are found in southwest Detroit neighborhoods passing out food and hygiene kits, spending time in prayer, and connecting those in need with resources to heal and restore. As we pack lunches, they will speak to us about the ministry, and what we can do in our fight to stay aware, vigilant and on guard in our small part of the world. While we encourage you to bring your family to the event, please understand that the discussion may be “PG-13”.

The event is FREE. YOUR HELP IS PRICELESS.

Anchored Hope can use your additional support with the donation of the following items:

• Gloves (Dollar Store are great)
• Wipes
• Hand warmers

You are welcome to bring any of these items and anything else that you would expect someone might need. (Please no mouthwash or hand sanitizer as they both contain alcohol which can add to addiction.)
