Background:

Russel Caudle is a disabled Veteran who served over 20 years in the United States Air Force. He enlisted in 1954 after graduating from High School and served in numerous positions and Military specialties during his 22-year career. In 1967 he was assigned to the 321st Graphics Shop in Vietnam where he supported Gen William Westmorland and other Generals with situation maps. He retired in 1976 with the rank of Master Sergeant.

He lives in Acworth with his wife Verna.

Project:

We will be completing a very large ramp project that will include a cement portion of the ramp once we reach a level with the ground. We will start the project on Monday, May 6th and plan to be done by NLT Thursday, May 9th.

Weather:

Not known at this time. Expect it to be warm

Special Instructions:

1. Lunch will be provided on all working days

2. Dress Appropriately –

• No shorts
• Work Boots required

3. Leather Work Gloves – we will have several pairs of Leather work gloves on-site, but if you have some please bring them

4. Tools Required - Workers

• Power drills
• Second Chop Saw if anyone has one
• Safety glasses if you have them

5. First aid Kit will be on site

6. Water/ soft Drinks will be provided

7. There will be pictures taken during the project to provide a report back to the Home Depot Foundation

8. The minimum age to work on the project is 16 years old

9. Project staining of the ramp will take place 3 months after construction is completed which allows the wood to dry.
