Gowanus Dredgers Pride Paddle Canoe Voyage of Gowanus Bay

Celebrate LGBTQ Pride & paddle with us in June as we offer a special voyage of Gowanus Bay departing from the shoreline near the 9th St. bridge.  Meet at our Bunker Boathouse at the end of 19th St / off 3rd Ave. at Gowanus Bay and please register to ensure we can reserve a seat for you. We launch from a natural shoreline so be prepared to climb over some rocks and everyone should be agile.

We’ll be departing from a launch spot lower on the canal this year and heading north to 9th St bridge and return towards the harbor as the sun sets.  We will pair three people per canoe with two in change of navigation and one passenger.  Bring your rainbow flags and colorful apparel!

**No rain date - event will cancel by 4 pm if heavy rain, thunder or lightning is on the menu.  Participants should be able to navigate a canoe and climb a ladder.
