🪔🌸 Govardhan Puja & Diwali – tiistaina 10.11.2026 🌸🪔

🪔🌸 Govardhan Puja & Diwali – Tuesday, 10 November 2026 🌸🪔
As the autumn evenings grow darker in Finland, we warmly invite you to gather at Krishna Temple Helsinki for a special celebration of Govardhan Puja & Diwali, honouring the Lord's loving protection and the triumph of light over darkness.
Govardhan Puja reminds us of the beautiful pastime in which Lord Krishna lifted Govardhan Hill to shelter the residents of Vrindavan, revealing the power of devotion and the loving bond between the Lord and His devotees.
Diwali, in the Vaishnava tradition, is celebrated especially in remembrance of Lord Ramachandra's return to Ayodhya after fourteen years of exile. The people of Ayodhya welcomed their beloved Lord home by illuminating the city with countless lamps. This joyous occasion reminds us of the victory of righteousness over evil, the Lord's divine pastimes, and the light of devotion that dispels the darkness of ignorance. 🙏✨
