Welcome to Gottle Of Geer: A Celebration of British Ventriloquism! Join us at The Pleasance Theatre for a day of laughter, nostalgia, and incredible talent in the ultimate, one off, celebration of British ventriloquism!

This unique event brings together some of the most talented ventriloquists, figure makers and enthusiasts for an unforgettable day of performances, talks, and hands-on learning. Whether you're a lifelong fan, an aspiring ventriloquist, or simply curious, Gottle of Geer promises to entertain, educate, and inspire.

The line up so far include Max Fulham, Steve Hewlett, John Kimmons, America’s Austin Phillips, Carl Dubin and Shorty Harris, and, a legend in his own right, Dawson Chance, with many more exciting names still to announce.

Alongside live performances, Gottle of Geer will feature talks, lectures, and workshops, diving deep into the techniques, history, and evolution of ventriloquism. The Pleasance Theatre’s Studio space will host a stellar exhibition of puppets and figures from stage and screen. And the venue will also host a number of puppet makers and dealers exhibiting and selling their work.
