Gotta Minute is Western Canada’s first film fest for Commuters proudly brought to you by PATTISON Onestop and FAVA.The festival features one-minute silent short films in public spaces. Gotta Minute is a celebration of public art on public transit in public space. A gem of a fest for one and all, big and small, proudly brought to you by PATTISON Onestop & The Film and Video Arts Society of Alberta (FAVA).
The 11th Annual festival will run from September 16th – 22nd, 2024.
Where To Watch:
On The Train - Waiting for a train? Watch for one-minute short films screening every five minutes on PATTISON Onestop platform screens throughout the Edmonton LRT system and the Calgary C-train system.
At The Library - Select Edmonton Public Library (EPL) & Calgary Public Library (CPL) locations will be showing the festival along with a specially curated Children’s program.
At Metro Cinema - Catch Gotta Minute films at Metro Cinema (8712 109 St NW) during the pre-show of their film presentations.
At The Gallery - See Gotta Minute films playing in the windows of your favourite arts spots, Latitude 53, 10130 100 St NW & the EAC Arts Shop, 9930 102 Ave NW.
On TV - Can’t get out of the house? Not a problem. Watch the Gotta Minute films on TV at home as a part of Telus StoryHive
Online - All of this year's films are online, streaming live on fava.ca/GMFF2024. Go watch every single one, and while you're there, vote for your favourite to win the audience choice award!
