To say life was difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic is a given, but what about the years following? According to a survey conducted by the Human Flourishing Lab (HFL) in October 2023, while 74% of Americans remain hopeful for the future of their local communities, only 56% are optimistic for the future of the United States, and that number drops to 44% when considering Americans' outlook at a global scale. Worse yet, nearly two-thirds (59%) of those between the ages of 18 and 29 believe "life will be worse for future generations."

Considering the research, it begs the question: Do you have hope for the future, and if so, where does your hope lie? If your outlook on the future has been waning in recent years, perhaps it is worth revisiting where you place your hope. Clearly, you're not alone. If you find yourself resonating with the data shared by HFL, join Dr. Nestor Soriano and Pastor Michael Morss at the Alpharetta Seventh-day Adventist Church on Sunday, September 22 at 6:30 pm to learn how you can improve your outlook on life and find a hope that is unwavering. This is a free event. Childcare and light refreshments will be provided each evening.
