Join us on Saturday, August 23 from 2-4:30pm for Got Gauge? Class!In this lecture presentation, knit instructor, Sarah Walworth will explain why swatching for your projects isn't just a necessary evil, but essential to having knitting projects turn out how you want them to. You will also learn tips and tricks for swatching successfully, measuring your gauge, and using the math to your advantage.
This class is free, but you must sign up to participate.
About the Instructor: Sarah Walworth is an author, knitting pattern editor, and industry community leader. She first learned to knit as a child from her mom, but re-learned as an adult when she needed a way to keep her hands busy. It quickly cascaded into re-writing patterns to fit her, learning innovative techniques, and trying all different ways to tension the yarn. She loves to pass on the craft to whomever she can get to hold needles and yarn for a few minutes.
