�DANBURY ESSEX! �Join Howard Francis and Gemma Francis from The BIG Sing for an uplifting, high-energy Gospel Workshop that will leave you inspired, empowered and smiling from ear to ear!
Howard and Gemma are the directors of the award-winning BIG Sing choir movement, which has grown into one of the UK’s most exciting community choir organisations, uniting hundreds of singers through uplifting music and powerful live performances. Together they have led mass choir performances at venues including Indigo at The O2, Hackney Empire and Cadogan Hall, appeared on Britain's Got Talent with their unforgettable 350-voice flashmob performance, and have worked alongside artists including Mica Paris, Tunde Baiyewu and Emeli Sandé.
Howard is an experienced vocal arranger, songwriter and choir director with a gift for making rich gospel harmonies feel accessible and exciting for everyone, while Gemma is known for her infectious energy, encouragement and passion for building confidence and community through music. Both homed their skills with The London Community Gospel Choir for many years, and have performed with the top gospel artists across the world.
This workshop is specially designed for people who may have never sung gospel music before, so you do not need any previous experience, the ability to read music, or even the confidence to call yourself a singer. If you love music, enjoy singing in the shower, or simply want to try something joyful and different, this is for YOU!
Through powerful harmonies, uplifting songs and a welcoming atmosphere, Howard and Gemma will guide you step-by-step through the world of gospel and contemporary choir music in a way that is fun, inspiring and full of heart.
Expect laughter, goosebumps, soul-stirring moments and a room full of people united through music. By the end of the session, you’ll be amazed at the sound you can create together!
