Good Vibrations Soundbath

This experience will be held at 6 PM in El Cielo, the upstairs event space at Drift Hotel in downtown Palm Springs. We suggest attending in comfortable clothing and bringing a yoga mat, ***blanket, pillows and an eye mask for additional comfort. Hotel guests have the option of renting a mat, free of charge but availability is limited. Drift offers free, first come, first serve parking but it does fill up quickly. We suggest parking at the structure directly across the street on Indian Canyon that is currently free of charge or behind the building on S. Calle Encilia.

***The reason for these are to support the body while laying on the floor. The mat for cushioning, one pillow for the head, one for under the knees and a blanket because the body temperature can fluctuate during a soundbath.

What is a sound bath? A sound bath is a deeply immersive, experiential meditation that delivers you to a fully relaxed state of ease. Think of it as a power-down for your busy mind and a massage for your tapped-out nervous system. The sound bath is a combination of crystal healing bowls and gong played in a manner to lull your body and mind into a space of relaxation. The vibrations from the bowls and gong help to calm the central nervous system allowing the body to release stuck energies resulting in a deeply relaxed experience. There is no movement involved and is best experienced lying down or in a seated, comfortable position.

Our instructor, Lisa Botts is a certified sound bath practitioner and has been playing for 5 years. She infuses her training as a kundalini yoga and meditation teacher, reiki and emotions facilitator to create a one hour session where you feel deeply supported.
