Join the Black Liberation Alliance Movement (BLAM) and Roots Bookstore & Market as we kick off John Lewis Day Weekend 2026 with a special screening of the award-winning documentary Good Trouble.
This powerful film chronicles the life and legacy of Congressman John Lewis, a fearless leader whose commitment to justice, voting rights, and nonviolent activism helped shape the Civil Rights Movement and continues to inspire generations.
Following the screening, participants will have an opportunity to connect, reflect, and discuss how the lessons of John Lewis’ life apply to the challenges and opportunities facing our communities today.
Whether you’re a longtime community organizer, a student, a first-time attendee, or someone simply looking to learn more about the movement for justice, this evening is for you.
