About this Event
The electric grid is changing, with demand surging due to electrification, new large loads, increased renewables, and greater variability. Buildings will be expected to be active participants in an interconnected grid. Demand flexibility programs and virtual power plants allow commercial buildings to actively help balance the grid, lower costs, and support a cleaner energy future.
Join us for a panel conversation with representatives from Seattle City Light, Puget Sound Energy, and leading voices in building-grid integration to explore what this shift means for building owners and operators in the Seattle region. We'll hear about active and emerging utility programs, how buildings are already participating in grid flexibility today, and what the road ahead looks like as electrification continues to reshape demand.
Whether you manage a portfolio of buildings or design and engineer them, this is a conversation about how the decisions you make on your side of the meter have consequences, and opportunities, on the other side.
The event will conclude with a networking happy hour, featuring refreshments and light bites
