Good Game Dev Club x Pantaloon - Party, Live DJs, Raffle & Games Showcase

About this Event

To celebrate Develop:Brighton and the announcement of OFFBEAT from Pantaloon and Whetstone Games, we've organised a party and games showcase at Loading Bar just below the pier in Brighton. You can enjoy:

• hanging out with your industry buds, or making some new ones
• a live DJ set from Murray Somerwolff, Creative Director of Patattie Games and co-creator of record shop puzzle game, Wax Heads
• participating in a raffle to win from a selection of donated Steam keys for some awesome games
• playing some games by developers showcasing their wares
• supporting the wonderful charity, Safe In Our World
• A SECRET DJ SET

If you would like to showcase your game so people can play it, please bring along your laptop and you can setup at one of the tables for free!

The ticket sales are raising money for the charity, Safe In Our World, whose mission is to foster positive mental health wellbeing & deliver support for gamers and the games industry. Donate whatever you can afford, there is no minimum (or maximum) donation!

The event is aimed at anyone who works in the games industry, or is trying to break in. Its open to anyone to make friends and help the community to be a good place to exist in.

Come talk game development, air your views about Unity licencing fees, discuss marketing strategy, celebrate the birth of a wave of new games journalism groups or discuss government games policy. It's all good.

Good Game Dev Club is organised by Harvey Hayman, with the permission and blessing of Loading Bar. The event is not affiliated with any organisations. Please join the Discord and let Harvey know if you have any questions.
