You are invited to witness the site of crucifixion of George Floyd and remember so many others killed in state sponsored violence. We will then walk or drive to the Renee Good memorial site, through the Whittier neighborhood sites of crucifixion, and end at the Alex Pretti memorial site to honor this journey. A part of our community has died. We are called to remember and honor this journey.
Each stop will include a Witness, a Theological Reflector, a brief prayer and a song lead by Singing Resistance. Planners include @T.MichaelRock and @RebeccaVoelkel @JiaStarrBrown and colleagues from Creekside UCC, University Baptist Church, Park Ave UMC, Calvary Lutheran, First Congregational of MN UCC, Singing Resistance.
