"Into your hands I commend my spirit"Follow the Way of the Cross with Jesus: Good Friday is a solemn day of remembrance for Christians, who commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. It is a day of sorrow and repentance, but also of hope and gratitude, as Christians look forward to the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday. Our Good Friday begins as our Maundy Thursday Prayer Vigil ends, with the first of several opportunities to walk the Stations of the Cross led by clergy and ends with an evening service that features music led by the SJD Chorale. Childcare and valet parking will be available for the services. If you are unable to attend, there will be a live stream of the 7 pm service ▶️ sjd.org/good-friday-live.
Good Friday Services and Offerings:
Clergy-led Stations of the Cross on Church grounds - 7 am, 1 pm, and 6 pm
Good Friday Service in the Church - 12 pm and 7 pm
Self Guided Stations of the Cross for Families - 3 pm
