About this Event

🍂 Goodbye Summer, Hello New Season Sound Bath 🍂

As we prepare to welcome fall, we invite you to pause, slow down, and honor the transition into a new season with one of our favorite community experiences.

This special Goodbye Summer Sound Bath is an opportunity to reflect on the season behind you, release what no longer serves you, and step into the months ahead feeling more grounded, present, and restored.

At Think Positive Club, we believe that learning to regulate your nervous system is one of the most valuable tools for supporting mental well-being. While a sound bath is not a medical treatment, it can be a beautiful practice for mindfulness, relaxation, and self-care in a welcoming community setting.

Research suggests that relaxing sounds and rhythmic vibrations may support activation of the parasympathetic nervous system—our body's natural "rest and restore" response. Many participants leave feeling calmer, mentally refreshed, and deeply relaxed.

🍁 What to Bring
  • A yoga mat (we'll have extras available if needed)
  • A blanket to stay warm and cozy
  • A pillow or bolster for added comfort
  • Comfortable clothing
  • A water bottle

🌾 Who Is This For?

This experience is perfect for anyone who:

  • Feels stressed, overwhelmed, or mentally exhausted
  • Has been carrying anxiety or tension
  • Wants to close out the summer with intention
  • Is looking for a peaceful way to welcome fall
  • Is curious about sound healing or meditation
  • Simply wants an hour of rest, reflection, and self-care

⚠️ Who Should Avoid a Sound Bath?

Sound baths are generally safe for most people, but they may not be appropriate for everyone. We recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before attending if you:

  • Have a pacemaker or implanted electronic medical device
  • Have sound-induced epilepsy or a condition where certain sounds may trigger seizures
  • Experience severe sound sensitivity or certain ear conditions
  • Have been advised by your healthcare provider to avoid vibration or sound-based therapies

If you have a heart murmur, it is not automatically a reason to avoid a sound bath. Many heart murmurs are harmless, but if you have a significant heart condition or concerns, it's always best to check with your healthcare provider beforehand.

This event is free and donation-based because we believe everyone deserves access to mental wellness tools, regardless of their financial situation. Your optional donation helps Think Positive Club continue offering free mental health and wellness programs throughout our Colorado Springs community.

💜 Come as you are. Let's thank summer for everything it brought us, release what we're ready to leave behind, and step into a new season with more peace, clarity, and intention. We can't wait to share this restorative evening with you. 🍂
