Stay Strange is back at the hidden St. Francis Chapel in Balboa Park.
We had a noise show there 10 years ago, and thanks to cool people at the Museum of Us, I am able to bring doom percussionist Gong Slayer to the venue.
Gong Slayer is an artist from New Mexico who uses his metal gongs to create, hellish sounds. It will sound great with the amazing acoustics of the chapel.
It is very unorthodox to have a show here, as they only use it for weddings, much less a heavy monolithic monster like Gong Slayer, so this is going to be extra special.
The show is on Saturday, November 07. Showtime is at 5:00PM and the admission is $10.00.
It's a very limited experience as the chapel only holds 60 people.
