Gong Fu Cha Tea Ceremony

Gong Fu Cha is a traditional method of preparation and etiquette for serving Chinese tea. The word Gong Fu should be familiar, often spelt Kung Fu. Traditionally used as a term for Chinese martial arts, its true meaning describes the skill that is built over time in any artistry or profession. This traditional preparation of tea involves several small concentrated steeping to explore the depths of a tea as it evolves in each steeping. There is introspection of flavor, quality, and internal effects on the body.

About Me

From a young age, I have harbored a profound respect and fascination for East Asian culture. I have immersed myself in the exploration of eastern philosophies and wellness practices. While all the various systems have their merits, I found a special connection with the Taiji, Qi Gong, and Chinese Martial Arts. After training with and witnessing old masters possessing great strength and vigor in their old age, it has been my personal goal to age with as much dignity and efficiency as them. In turn I would say I have based a large part of my own personal practice on the singular concept of “longevity.” I would like to share this quest for longevity with you.
