About this Event
Calling all students in grades 1 through age 13! Come and get a behind-the-scenes look at how the famous In-N-Out restaurant runs its operations. We get to go behind the scenes before the restaurant opens and see them at work. The tour includes the history of In-N-Out, store operation, morning prep, and nutrition. All students will also get a free meal at the end of the tour.
*Students who are not in grades 1 through age 13 cannot attend !
There will be 5 parents allowed at a time with the kids on the tour. Due to space, we will have some parents wait in the dining room and then switch into the tour partway through, while the first group of parents switch out.
- Julie will email all registered families a waiver and meal choice card for their student/s. Everyone must bring these on the day of the field trip to participate.
- Please wear closed toe shoes for the tour.
We encourage you to submit a work sample highlighting what your student learned from this field trip during your next learning period. It helps to ensure that we can continue to provide these opportunities.
Heartland field trips are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please let the field trip host know once you complete your registration.
**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**
May I pay using my funds? This field trip is FREE!
Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? This field trip is for 1st graders- age 13 ONLY (One chaperone per family. ) Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Eventbrite.
Check-in Procedures: Meet at In-N-Out off of Turnpike at 9 am. Julie will be there to check you in and collect your waivers and student meal preferences.
Is there on-site parking available? Parking is free.
Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Water is ok.
Please do not bring food that contains peanuts to any Heartland event.
