We’re joining Goldfinger Brewing for Dark Lager Day, and this year, they’re bringing something extra special! We’ll be tapping a stichfaß (gravity keg) of their Polotmavý 14°, alongside kegs of Zlotonator Doppelbock and Black Lager - plus, a limited supply of cases will be available for purchase.🔥 What’s Pouring? 🔥
🍺 Zlotonator Doppelbock (7.5% ABV) – A smooth, full-bodied, malty lager with rich flavors of dark cherries, plums, and raisins. The perfect lager to warm up with during the colder months.
🍺 Black Lager (5% ABV) – A German-style Schwarzbier that drinks incredibly light but finishes with a subtle roast. Don’t let the dark color fool you - this one is crisp, clean, and highly drinkable.
Why is the stichfaß pour a big deal? Unlike a standard keg, this traditional German-style gravity cask allows beer to pour naturally, without CO2 pressure. This results in a smoother, silkier mouthfeel and lets the beer’s flavors open up beautifully, similar to how decanting enhances wine. It’s also extremely limited, so once it’s gone, it’s gone!
