Golden Wholeness: Meditation & Kintsugi Bowl Making

Who we are: This interactive and experiential session is being lead by Kimberley Gunning, MSW, RSW, Reiki Master, 200 hour Yoga Teacher and retreat curator.

What to Expect:

This Mother’s Day weekend, you’re invited into a meaningful and restorative experience that goes beyond crafting, a gentle return to yourself.

Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, teaches us that nothing is truly broken, only transformed. In this workshop, you’ll be guided through the process of mindfully restoring a ceramic bowl, embracing each crack as part of its evolving story.

This experience is not about perfection. It’s about presence. About honouring the pieces of ourselves we’ve outgrown, carried, or quietly held together.

Rooted in my work as a counsellor, Reiki practitioner, and yoga teacher, this offering is intentionally designed to be both grounding and reflective. You’ll be held in a calm, welcoming space where creativity meets gentle introspection.

Whether you come alone for a moment of stillness, or share the experience with your mother, daughter, or a meaningful woman in your life, this is an invitation to slow down and connect, within and with each other.
