Special guest performer:
Anna Phoebe
Anna Phoebe is a composer, producer, performer and broadcaster whose work exists at the intersection of classical, electronic and experimental music. Renowned for her visceral, violin-led soundscapes, she crafts bold, emotionally charged works that balance raw human energy with cutting-edge sonic exploration. Drawing inspiration from both the natural world and technological frontiers, her music moves fluidly between intimacy and scale, from quiet meditations to cinematic intensity.
Anna's solo albums – Sea Souls (2021), Sea Souls (Live) (2022), Sea Souls (Reworks) (2023) and Divergence (2025) – are described as dialogues between the sea and the psyche: love letters to the sea, loss and the shifting tectonics of emotion.
Anna regularly collaborates with Mary Anne Hobbs, including a debut performance at Tate Britain described as a "living artwork". They've since appeared at the BBC 6 Music Festival, Glastonbury Festival and Manchester International Festival.
As a screen composer, Anna co-scored Apple TV+'s The Buccaneers and has written for Channel 4, ITV and the BBC, winning Best Composer at Underwire.
She also co-hosts Add to Playlist on BBC Radio 4 and is a Senator of The Ivors Academy.
