In her commitment to ecological stewardship, Akhtar uses non-toxic pigments and sustainable materials in her artistic practice, emphasizing her dedication to preserving the environment that inspires her creations. “Having left Pakistan twenty years ago, I often yearn for the familiarity of my homeland. Yet, over time, I have discovered a deep appreciation for the nature and tranquility that transcends borders. Through my art, I strive to capture these vibrant landscapes and the peace they provide, inviting others to join me in exploring the colors of nature and finding serenity within these landscapes,” said Akhtar.
