The Make a Wish Foundation has asked me to organise a Golden Retriever event in order to grant a 10 year old little girls wish come true.
Golden Retrievers are Ellie’s favourite dog breed and so my friend Chel from https://chelstails.co.uk/? and I are hoping to make Ellie’s wish come true by organising a parade of Golden Retrievers to meet and greet Ellie and her family.
This will be followed by a brief photo shoot with the dogs.
And for those interested in a social walk, afterwards, I’ve planned a nice route from the rugby club for everyone to enjoy.
There are some important rules for the meet and greet with Ellie.
1. If your dog has received an intranasal kennel cough vaccine within the last 11weeks, as it’s a live vaccine the dog cannot have contact with Ellie but can still join the walk.
2. If your dog has vomiting, diarrhoea or a cough, we ask not to allow your dog to attend.
3. Dogs must stay on leads, no matter how well behaved at the rugby club.
4. No dogs allowed on the grassy area of the rugby pitches.
5. During the social walk each person is responsible for their own dog, picking up the poop and their behaviour.
This is a free event to grant a wish for an amazing little girl and her family and we ask that any Goldies attending wear something bright like a cravat, tinsel, bow tie, Cornish tartan etc.

Ellie is 10 years old and would love to meet lots of Goldie’s and we are hosting this event so that her wish can be granted and she can meet lots of her favourite dog breed😍
The plan is a parade of goldies so she can meet each dog individually and afterwards some photos will be taken and I’ve planned a nice walking route for anyone who would like to take part in a Goldie walk afterwards.
All dogs must be on leads at the rugby club
No dogs (even on leads) are to go on the grassy pitches.
Please can all the dogs wear something bright.. like a nice bandana, bow tie, tinsel etc
There is no fee, we are just gathering goldies to grant a wish for a very poorly little girl, having some photos and a nice walk😀
